Well, I know this isn't related at all to some people. But when I was about to ask how to fix my computer here, because it can't access any microsoft sites even hotmail, I found a fix !
So I found this solution online. Hope this helps someone with the common problem.
Only tried on an XP though.
First method:
1)Start --> Run --> type cmd then Enter. Then enter this command on the Command Prompt:
ipconfig /flushdns and press "Enter".
Try opening Microsoft website now.
Second method:
If it still persists:
Go to Start --> Run --> type services.msc and right-click on "DNS Client" and select "Stop".
Click on the below link and download the file.
Happy fixing ! Worked on mine.
