Well, I know this isn't related at all to some people. But when I was about to ask how to fix my computer here, because it can't access any microsoft sites even hotmail, I found a fix ! [IMG]

So I found this solution online. Hope this helps someone with the common problem. [IMG]

Only tried on an XP though. [IMG]

    First method:
1)Start --> Run --> type cmd then Enter. Then enter this command on the Command Prompt:
    ipconfig /flushdns and press "Enter".

    Try opening Microsoft website now.

    Second method:
    If it still persists:
Go to Start --> Run --> type services.msc and right-click on "DNS Client" and select "Stop".

Click on the below link and download the file.
    Code:
    http://download.microsoft.com/download/9/8/E/98E41ACF-6AE6-40A4-AAB0-73C21998B7B6/MicrosoftFixit50267.msi
Happy fixing ! Worked on mine. [IMG]

For one thing, I thought the flushdns command was already well known. [IMG]

And so I thought, but it didn't work on mine, so I needed to find another way. [IMG]
