Hacking Can't access "Install Package Files" menu

Hi all, having some problems with my PS3 lately.

As detailed in this thread (http://www.ps3iso.com/ps3-help/25637...ml#post1040897) I'm having some trouble getting things to work out. Now it seems that when I even click on my "install package files" option in the main PS3 screen (without entering Multiman) my system freezes. It also freezes if I click on it after entering Multiman.

I'm not quite sure what to do now. I have cleaned out my HDD's root directory. Maybe it's because my HDD is getting old? But just a few days ago (before transferring all the Drakengard DLC) it was working fine.

Please help, now I won't even be able to install any other .PKG files.

Maybe someone can give you the backup of the app folder to overwrite yours. If that doesn't work then you'll have to reset to factory default and/or reinstall the CFW.
