Homebrew Can you open and modify only the .nds.sav files without the original nds cartridge on PKSM?

I was just wondering if you can modify and edit only the Pokémon .nds.sav files without the original Pokémon nds game cartridge on the homebrew Pokémon save file manager app which is PKSM? Because PKSM will only just edit and modify the save file and not the whole game, so is there a need of an original Pokémon ds game cartridge?

No. PKSM only works with legitimate DS cartridges. Period.

If you want to edit the .NDS save by itself,you need to extract it and use PKHeX.
