- You haven't told us your firmware version, which determines whether or not you are able to downgrade
- Chances are, unless this person is very well trusted, they could just take your 3DS and never give it back
- Assuming you're on a compatible FW version, downgrading is simple. Even if there is a small chance of it bricking, that chance does not go any lower nor disappear if someone else does it for you
Yeah, that is true. Not many people would do that though.Actually, if someone installs a hardmod, makes a backup, than brick is risk free... Well permanent brick is risk free.
In the last week, I've had 10 consoles shipped in, this was just last week alone from this very site, in the past 6 months, maybe 50 have been shipped in...Yeah, that is true. Not many people would do that though.
Yeah, I know you do it a lot, but what about others? I'm saying fewer than 20 people can actually hardmod, less of which offer services for it.In the last week, I've had 10 consoles shipped in, this was just last week alone from this very site, in the past 6 months, maybe 50 have been shipped in...
Ahhh, I thought you meant people don't ship them out. Misunderstanding is all. But yes, it's delicate work. Thats for sure.Yeah, I know you do it a lot, but what about others? I'm saying fewer than 20 people can actually hardmod, less of which offer services for it.

Any entry point will work at that point. So yes, browserhax will work, than setup menuhax, than continue to install A9LH.I have some expertise in hardware, I'm used to reading schemes and sodering ( I build my own Guitar pedals ) If I update to 11.0 and hardmod it to 10.4 like the guide says, do I still require an entrypoint like cubic ninja or OOT, or can I just use browser/menu hax. I'm realy new to this 3ds modding stuff, since I got the 3ds like 2 weeks ago from a relative, so sorry about the incovinience.
I'd replace the console.I'm sorry, but I have to know. Let's say you were doing work on an 3DS and you somehow..slipped. Making the 3DS unusable. (God forbid). What happens?
lol
Then I guess I might has well hardmot since I probably have all the required materials to perform an hardmod.Any entry point will work at that point. So yes, browserhax will work, than setup menuhax, than continue to install A9LH.

He claims to have decent experience soldering based off his previous post, he should be fine. But the o3ds non xl is a bitch IMO.Hopefully this is not your first time doing work like this, because, it'll end much worse than you needing a hardmod..I learned this the hardway..
Good luck, if you have done this before, then, you good.
Luckily it's not my first time soldering, it will be my first time on a 3ds tho, but at least in the videos it realy does not seem hard at all, comparing it to the pedals I make where I actualy have to create a board and make circuits for the electrical components, I think this will be way more easy.Hopefully this is not your first time doing work like this, because, it'll end much worse than you needing a hardmod..I learned this the hardway..

That's fine, just keep in mine with the CLK point on the o3ds you can either remove the metal shielding that holds the game cart, or you can flip the board over and use the ALT CLK point, which is very very small and a pain in the ass to solder, you may need to scrape the trace a bit to get solder to stick, than put a piece of tape over it to keep from shorting.
I quit doing o3ds ( non XL ) for this very reason, they are too time consuming.
