After countless unsucessfull attempts to dump my new Action Replay (there is just no disc dumper for new Datel discs) I decided to update the codelist of my old one. I also found a file that seems to have the latest codes in it, but ofcourse there is a problem. It is in Max dirves .sav-format, not the .gci-format that is usually used by applications. I tried to convert it, but all I get is a corrupted file.
Maybe someone of you is smarter than me and can work that converter program [IMG] or (probably easier) has a Max Drive and can upload the save to it and dump it again, using NuGaSa. That would also make it into a .gci

I really really hope someone can help me. After all these hours of trying I'm pretty desperate.

The file is from eurasia, I reuploaded it, so that you don't have to register: http://home.arcor.de/slowking/AREURUSA_2007-02-08.zip

I posted that file. There is even a newer 7-26-08 update. I will try to to help you convert it. Check eurasia's new downloads for my AR 1.14 loader. It should be released shortly. In the meantime try downloading the save files from my AR 1.08 loader and convert those files. I have no way to test non Max drive AR files.

For some reason, each pair of bytes from 002Ch to 003Fh are swapped by the Max Drive Pro software when transferring files. To convert a file from the SAV format to the GCI format, the first 128 bytes must be removed, and then the following byte pairs must be swapped:
    Swap 002Ch and 002Dh, swap 002Eh and 002Fh, swap 0030h and 0031h, swap 0032h and 0033h, swap 0034h and 0035h, swap 0036h and 0037h, swap 0038h and 0039h, swap 003Ah and 003Bh, swap 003Ch and 003Dh, swap 003Eh and 003Fh.
This means swapping every byte pair between 002Ch-002Dh and 003Eh-003Fh.

I fixed the max drive save converter 1.0. I found 3 bugs in it so I updated it to v1.01. This should hopefully fix the corrupt file issues. I also added Gameshark SharkSave (GCS) conversion to it. I am uploading it to Euarsia.nu.

I have the latest EUR and USA codes. Both are dated 8-26-08. I'll give you an http link if you need them. BTW....what is your old version # of your action replay. My updates are for 1.14 and 1.08
