I have a program that allows me to watch/rip the movies from PS1 games but I'm wondering if there is any programs out there that allow you to do this with PS2 games.

It depends on the game. PS1 had more of a "standard" if you will when it came to videos but with PS2 there isn't one. Some games make it easy and have the videos in Bik (I think that's the name) format so you can play them in any video player supporting the codec. Some games use simple MPEG-2 files (might have varying extrensions) while others such as Final Fantasy X have the videos hidden within the disc and need a special program in order to rip them.

if it's a .pss file, then yes. sort of. there's a program called "pss demux" that you can use to...get this...demux pss files. from there, you're left with a .wav and an .m2v (mpeg2) that you can compress to an avi using virtualdub or whatever you're handy with.

edit: looks like there is a player too here.
