Homebrew Question Can one install nsp DLC on legit backups to play online

Has anyone tried downloading a DLC online and then tried installing it and using it to play online using legit XCI backups. Eg downloading the splatoon 2 DLC and playing it online using your own copy of the game. If this works then we can verify that Nintendo servers do not verify DLC certs but simply the main game cert for online play.

But the base game is an original copy right? Do you if know anyone has actually tried this?

Do you really think nintendo would allow this? they can detect ALL pirated software the second you connect to the internet. Go on line with pirated DLC, you will get banned. Doesn't matter if the base game is legit or not. But if you don't believe me, try it yourself.

you will be banned even with original card, nity can detect everything that doesnt be buy on your switch like games or DLC
