Hacking Can I reformat my switch without to accept the update?

When your switch has downloaded an update follow these instructions:
Cancel the update dialog
Press the power button till it shows the power options
Select power down/off
Wait till it is completely off
Go into maintenance mode
Reboot with power button


Otherwise your switch might update.
After this you can use the maintenance mode to factory reset your device (this won't change the fw)

Thx a lot! It done! Could tell me if I have a switch 2.3 and a switch 4.1 Can I use my Joy con (2.3) for my switch (4.1)? Without to do the update. Or I cant because the update is on the joy con like other game (pokken, zelda with Dlc)

Joycons dont carry updates. They are just Bluetooth controllers. Your fine.
