Homebrew Can I play out of region Wii games on the Wii U?

I have CBHC setup on my Wii U which is from the NTSC region, my vWii is stock with nothing installed on it, I got a bunch of PAL games from my friends to try out and I can't get them to boot up because the system recognizes them as out of region games, but I thought CBHC was supposed to make the Wii U region free? I guess that's only for the Wii U now, is there anyway to play these games without messing around with vWii or I have to hack vWii aswell to get these games running?

For CBHC to matter when it comes to Wii games you have to inject them onto your Wii U menu. Otherwise you have to play them on vWii which has nothing to do with CBHC.

Yes I know how to inject Wii games onto the Wii U menu but thats for digital games, I got a bunch of physical games that won't run, so if I were to hack the vWii will I be able to run retail out of region wii games aswell is what I am asking, also if I hack my vWii assuming it will allow me the run retail games from other regions will I have to go into the Wii menu to run games everytime, or can they be run from the Wii U menu when I pop in the disc?

Yes you would need to hack your vWii and use USB Loader GX then. Physical Wii discs cannot be run from Wii U menu at all. That's why digital is better.
