Can i force switch to record a video with a HB or plugin?

If the game doesn't allow it, no. Not without a capture card or something similar. Sysdvr is the closest thing but only supports games that allow you to record those clips with screenshot button. So games like ssbu where you can't record, won't work.

Few games won't work with this because of tight memory requirements, but still better than nothing

Thanks yall, SYSDVR is a strange workaround but it works as intended. i can make small videos now

Didn't know those existed. Thank you for correcting/showing me this. may have to mess around with sysdvr again
