Install YSMenu and use the patch people have been posting. Works perfectly.

Run it with the YSMenu build that gets around Bowser's Inside Story. It works fine for me.

You may want to recheck your uploads there..... the easy-share file is 20 mb.... I didn't download it, but considering the MU one is 700kb and the original rom is 20 mb.... well it's not hard to put 2 and 2...

I cracked the game with the Xeno thing. I can start a new game just fine, it shows me the opening screen, but when I try 'New game' it black screens.

I've not tried:

The Arm7 fix (no problems with creating the save it seems)
Firmware 1.11

Would any of this work? Better said, what would work?

Then why the hell doesn't it work for me. Same error, 'cannot find save data'.

The cracked version doesnt work on the m3/m3i. It gets to the title screen(which is farther than before), but freezes if you try to create a new game. If you relaunch it, it'll give you the choice of starting over or loading your previous save, but both result in freezes as well.

i´m using 1.12 and it worked fine after using the patch

WHY THE HELL WON'T IT WORK. I use the EXACT save rom as he does (he uploaded it for me) and yet I get a black screen (R4) when trying to open a new game. I tried firmware 1.28 which wouldn't even pass the loading screen (when you start your DS) and now I tried 1.18 which gives a black screen when I open a new game.

I play on R4 and the rom itself is fine. Which firmware should I get / HOW THE HELL CAN I FIX THIS?
