Hardware Burning a Wii Game?

Hi, I just recieved my wiikey in the mail today and I'm gonna get it modded on friday so I'm just downloading everything for now.
I burned the first DVD (Godfather) and since I can't check it on my wii since its not modded yet I put it back into the DVD drive just out of curiousity and it said that the DVD was blank.
Is this normal or did I do something wrong?

No, burnt Wii games are in a file structure that Windows (or any other OS) is unable to read, so you would get some kind of error.
