Hi guys,

Pretty stuck on this one..

Hacked my wii when I first got it a couple of years ago. That was on firmware 3.3. been using a usb loader just fine ever since.

On Saturday, I sold my wii on gumtree. Completely forgot to tell him not to upgrade the firmware, which he has now done.

He says that homebrew no longer works...

Is it possible to restore it to how it was with homebrew and the loaders working again?

Going to point the buyer to this thread so many thanks is advance,
Andy

Does he still has forwarder channels on his system menu? If yes, he can use that as an exploit to reinstall the homebrew channel instead of what modmii suggests. If he still has the homebrew channel*, then can even skip the exploit and get to reinstalling the cIOS'es that were stubbed in the process.

If he has no custom channel whatsoever...then he'll need one of the games that has an exploit.

*the latest version of that channel doesn't get removed in the update process
