Ok, I am very new to modding the wii. I received a wii back from a relative and he had a softmod done with hombrew. Stupidly, I tried to do a Nintendo update to 4.3. IT failed and since then I cannot get back to the health screen or channel screen.
When restarting the wii at first preloader would show up. and say "boot not available" or something to that effect pushed a few buttons here and made my way into homebrew channel. So i can make it there. I downloaded a system checker.
Also, after further restarting of the wii I have bootmi now showing up. I did read to try and get a nand backup. I did complete that task as well. have no idea what to do with it, but I did it.
So now every time i boot wii it wil go to the bootmi first, then i can go straight to homebrew from there. I cant launch any games or emulators, etc...
If anyone can help me get this thing back to playing games again, that would be greatly appreciated, I am at a loss on what to do.
