Hacking Bricked but what kind of ??

Hey Guys,

A friend has bricked his wii, He said that it happend after installing the Cmios for GC, i think its because he has updated from a wrong region. His wii is softmodden and has NOT Preloader, Bootmii or Starfall, system firmware is 3.4,the only thing what is installed is HBC, Backuplauncher, cios36rev9.

Has i startup his wii he only gets a black screen nothing else... Will the savemiifrii GC controller work with this brick...

Is it possible to do it with a 3rd party GC controller ???? Well i shall give it a try tommorrow

It works with a dance mat... if I remember correctly the controller just must be wired.

I have a Wii that is in the same state as the OP when turned on black screen only. i have tried the savemiifrii thing 10 times but nothing shows up. worked on my friends wii just not the one i have. any way to fix this? or is sending it to Nintendo the only option i have.
