Hello i m uploading Bravely Default ll walkthrough to youtube in 2K, i m using mClassic for that, my question is if i use either the first mod or the 2nd mod to make my game look better can i get dmca strike in youtube? I havent tried the mods yet, all i did was trying to use the normal overclock to maximimize settings in cpu, gpu and memory speed in docked mode but it seemed that it stuttered more when transitioning from scenes so i reverted the overclock to normal and i m just using mClassic at the moment.

In theory no. It's not illegal to modify your Switch in the EU. It's YOURS. Just because you use a mod, doesn't mean you pirated it.

Thanks for the fast reply, so i should be fine in using the mod and uploading my videos with the better quality the mod provides and nintendo cant do anything right? Provided i m not showing around that i m using cfw right? At least to my understanding. I am always careful just to upload the gameplay and not my home custom theme lol.

Just uploading walkthrough can be copyrighted if rightsholder will say so. Mods have nothing to do with it

Not by "fair use" guidelines, there are tons of gameplay walkthroughs in youtube even from more than 6 years ago from random youtubers. Unless they change somwthing in the guidelines they normaly cant dmca walkthroughs, especialy those that are transformative for example comenting while playing, in my case i dont comment but i dont feel like im gonna get dcma also because i started uploading late Bravely Default ll where many have already uploaded their own wallthroughs since day 1 of launch and are still going okay.

By my country fair use rules i can upload any content without autor consenting as long as it s for educational purpose as an example, walkthroughs are educational, i also stated that i m not afiliated with nintendo and square enix ltd just to be sure but many dont even do that and are still fine with Let's play with no commentary type of videos like mine.

Fair use is not something trivial. Walkthroughs are complete violation of fair use in many countries and they can be DMCAd pretty easily. Devs are not doing that because they know that those materials helps selling more copies in many cases.

Thanks for the info, but i still believe i can upload to youtube walkthroughs in my country though, but i need second opinion cuz this is confusing me...google fair use Portugal, will need translation though.

Is it normal for this game to have stutters and fps drops? Or is it an SX OS issue? Both handheld and docked.

Alright i did more digging about fair use in portugal seems like it s the same as most countries like masagrator said, thank you, with that out of the way i ll try and use the TAA mod then.

Alright i did some digging and it seems that Portugal plays by the same rules of most countries too regarding fair use, thank you masagrator for the help, i ll now try using the TAA mod and see how it goes.

Note: Delete my previous post moderators, the website or my net lagged and i ended up double posting.

I hate to be that guy but I barely used my Switch and trying to mess around with some of these features. How bad does OC'ing impact the battery life? It's already garbage on an original model switch. I played about 2 hours on handheld, low brightness and I was already down to 35% or so. Also the Switch takes a lot longer to recharge that 2 hours play time.
Also I was originally playing the Japanese release, so not sure if these patches will work, so I'll give them a try.

Does the TAA mod work with SXOS? I placed it in sd:/SX_OS/exefs_patches/BravelyDefault2/ but honestly not sure if it's working or not it still look pretty jaggy to me. Overclocking made a huge difference though so I'm not too bothered by it since the resolution is much better now.
