I was wondering. It's annoying to get up and press power and reset everytime!
Is there support for wiimote? I don't have a gamecube controller so that's out of the question.

This is answered on the BootMii website - boot2 occurs before most of the hardware initialization, meaning Wiimotes cannot and will not work during Bootmii. There is nothing they can do to fix that at this time.

I would set your BootMii to autoboot to System Menu, or remove the Bootmii SD card when you don't want to use BootMii.

The thing is NSMB pal makes me shut the wii down everytime so i wanted to go directly to the HBC.
Ok, thanks. can be locked.

bootmii can NEVER EVER EVER have wiimote support as using a wiimote would need the use of an ios
bootmii does NOT use a ios
WRONG WRONG WRONG.
It does not require an IOS. They could write their own MINI driver to use USB and the Wiimote, this is very unliekly in near future, but NEVER EVER EVER is just BULLSHIT!

although it would be nice for wiimote support, i think its pointless. No1 should be using bootmii everyday unless ur beta testing. Bootmii, in my opinion, is there for brick protection and brick protection only. So who cares if u need to get off the couch in order to fix a bricked wii a few times during the products lifetime (if ur bricking ur wii more frequently... u have should have more important things to worry about than wiimote support in bootmii)

all in all, i think team twiizers would be better off spending their time on something more useful. Like being able to install bootmii as boot2 on ALL wiis, not just the older ones. I don't know if this is on their to do list, but if it is, i hope it comes before wiimote support!!

true, but good luck writing all the asm code/commands for the bluetooth adaptor

also, surprised some1 actually knows about mini on this place, didn't think gbatemp had users with that intelligence

It's not that I disagree with you on the general IQ of this place but, seriously look who's talking. You don't know anything about MINI, so don't pretend you do.

o rly? mind looking at the priiloader isntaller source. it clearly says in a comment that if i want to make the installer ios patching free i need mini. i know damn well what mini is. dont generalize me damnit

I gotta say, most people here are just lazy, they dont read the stickied threads before asking dumb questions.

I know jack SH*T about mini or writing code beyond a basic windows environment, and I don't claim otherwise. But I consider myself an advanced user, just by doing my homework.

I appreciate all the work all the coders do. Which brings me to the point of this msg.

Don't give Daco such a hard time, even if he does know jack about mini (he may know a lot about it for all I know), i'm sure most people don't... and Daco is the co-author of priiloader, and I know for a fact he continues to work on it as we speak. So lets not fight over who knows more, because some1 always knows more. I'm sure team twiizers and waninkoko could make all of us look like idiots by comparison. But the point is, lets work together instead of against each other.... damn, half tempted to erase this msg, its starting to sound too happy-go-lucky if u know what i mean.

bump

also, boot2 is run before the bluetooth adaptor is init and can only be run on the damn starlet(first code to be run on the broadway is the system menu)
im really sure bootmii as boot2 can't use the wiimote . if it could, why wouldn't they have added it?
also, mini prob has wiimote support. didn't look at the source yet

Does anyone know you can press power to cycle through options, and reset to select an option?

Edit: didn’t read enough. Sorry.
Still, power and reset is your best bet.
