I was messing around with my 3ds when I opened download play, after that I clicked on the DS button. Then it booted me into DS mode. That sparked a question, could the 3ds boot to the DS menu in anyway shape or form? Maybe using an R4 or something?

You can use NTR Launcher if you only want to see the NDS bootsplash, NTR Firmware doesn't work properly on 3DS, it gets stuck at DS Profile's settings.

The full DS menu can run, but after every launch, it thinks it's the first boot, so it goes through the settings and shuts down. I don't know if it's possible to patch it, but I'd doubt anyone capable of doing so would think it's worth it.

@Xdqwerty, wire is definitely more practical IMO. Hell these days you can charge a laptop over USB, can't charge a laptop wirelessly though. Wireless chargers, even "fast" ones, are only good for slowly charging devices, plus they generate a good amount of heat too

Power banks can be incredible depending on your needs. 1) I have a 100w capable one that can charge my laptop. 2) Same one can also power my soldering iron (though is overkill for it) 3) a BIG power bank I have with an AC outlet on it can power my desktop weed vape during a power outage :rofl2:
