Homebrew Boot.firm request

What makes you think you need a "bootfirm file for the new2ds"? If you installed CFW, you would use the same boot.firm as everyone else.

The usual advice for wiped SD cards is to redo the "Finalizing Setup" portion of The Guide.

Ok thank you. I just remember there being something about needing a file for each specific 3ds model.
 
btw I cant launch the homebrew menu with download play.
You forgot how Rosalina menu HBL injection works? The button combo is (L)-shoulder + (Down) d-pad + (Select). Here's a crash course refresher if you're not seeing what the written instructions meant.
Try not to make it a habit following video tutorials... I only link to that one because it's more or less a set-in stone Luma3DS feature.

Edit - Opps, I got the combo wrong. I mixed the (Select) with (Start). Sorry.

I know how it works, it says "operation failed (no suitable process found." is there a missing file or something?
