Apparently someone named Robert Pelloni has their own phone extension at the Nintendo store in New York. Looks like he made that vid with some degree of permission or at least works at the store. Like many have theorized, this craziness is probably viral marketting.

Woo! Conspiracy theory for the win.

Seriously though, I doubt Nintendo would approve of this kind of viral marketing, one that involves flashcarts and all that crap, with a licensed product. Either Bob is/was a Nintendo store employee but is working on this game independently or this is a complete different Robert Pelloni.

Well, it sucks that he got rejected by Nintendo (what were they thinking?).
On the bright side, there's cool fireworks and there's gonna be a PARTY!

I guess it doesn't really matter how he releases it though. The pirates (YAR-HAR-FIDDLE-DEE-DEE) will get it no matter what.

at a certian point in the video, he says viral add
i never heard him say viral add and i watched this video like 5 times
He does say it to the employee that was calling the police. Obviously it was a lie to get him to stop. At around 3:40 in the video.
And lol at the people who think this is a conspiracy theory. Nintendo would never support this crap. I wonder how much money Bob had to pay those Asian girls, but I guess it's already been established that he's not poor.

And why didn't Nintendo ever "sir, you can't film here" Look at thecreativeone's video about NY they were PISSED when he walked into his store w/ cam

PS I think the timing in the video was messed up, If you look at it, Mr. hat walks in before Bob, but i filmed by Bob walking in. the sirens were clearly put over the tape, he buys a DS two times, and the manager walks in AFTER he calls the cops

Someone go to his house and steal the game for me, eh?

Although public and easily traceable, I don't think you should (or even are allowed to) post personal information about the guy like that....

..Be a man..

Interestingly enough, in that Whois report it says he owns about 9-10 other domain names.

They're not publically viewable without purchasing a gold account or ordering a report, but interesting nonetheless.
