Hacking Blackscreen, Systemmenu 4.2

hi,

Got a wii over here, blackscreen, when i try the gamecube controller trick, right bottom show, 4.2 E.
is there a way to fix this brick??
This is NOT a softmoded systeem, there was only a drivekey installed

You could update to 4.3 using the recovery mod with the gamecube controller, you only need a game with the 4.3 update, retail or backup. There is no other way, because your wii was not softmodded.

Use Wii Party! It's single layer and contain the 4.3 update!

what i do wrong.

1. Boot in recovery mene, see right under 4.2 E
2. Got a modchip in it (d2sun Fusion)
3. Put the game Wii Party in the drive, drive start spinning, i hear the laser going.
after 3 a 4 second, the 4.2E go away, drive is spinning, but nothing there only see a black screen

after the 4.2E goes away, let it sit for 10-15min shouldn't take that long, but it should update. after it does finish updating 4.3 should show up. Also did anyone figure out why he got a black screen on boot, before giving advice to update. I'm guessing a out of region update?? sense he says, its not soft-modded and his flag is USA
