.bin Files

Well, I'm download a movie and it came out as a .bin format. Will this be burnt to a DVD (Dvd-player playable) directly or be converted?

It's an 'archive' so to speak, similar to an ISO I'm pretty sure... It should just burn to DVD. FilEXT is a good site for finding out what you need.

D/L media coder, its a windows front end for mplayer, which converts and plays almost every sound and video format that's out there

Oh yeah, and i'm pretty sure it's an image because there's a .cue file there as well.

Yes, bin/cue is an image. VLC will play .bin files without converting and I think Media Player Classic does as well. Or, you can mount the image and pull the mpeg out of the mpegav folder and play that in your player of choice.

EDIT: Assuming you downloaded a VCD...other images may be different.

.bin is used for many different files, but as there's a .cue file and you know it's supposed to be a movie it's indeed very likely to be a DVD image. You can burn it with Nero, ImgBurn or any other buring software that can burn images.

ImgBurn will just burn it, without a cue file, if need be.

Burns any damn thing lol
