You guy's problems might be helped by this little program.
Works for my japanese system. I always run spider exploits locally though. Try clearing your cookies and history.
And use this:

This may seem obvious to me, but did you generate a new code.bin with the PC program? I double checked and rxtools.dat is definitely working for JPN 3ds.

Yes, I typed in 5, it downloaded, I copied it to the root, went to the url on my 3ds, the bottom screen blinked black and i went to the ds profile with rxTools.dat in the sd and it would just stay at a grey screen and then say an error occured

Yeah, many people have commented that on this video tutorial which uses Spider to install CFW
Maybe someone could 'port' spider to Korean FW?
I tried this on a spare 3DS i have, I am facing the same results. Screen flickers when installing, but when I actually go to execute MSET, it just crashes and forces a reboot.
Just paying a visit to say a big thank you to peekatyou for providing the code.bin and Apache Thunder for setting up the QR Code on the very first page of this thread. My blue card refused to work all of a sudden and I really prefer the NDS profile exploit over the browser exploit. Had nothing to lose, so I gave this a try and it worked like a charm. I just wish I stumbled upon this a bit sooner since I got really frustrated because of the blue card not working anymore. But finally and thanks to you two I could put an end to my frustration

Just download the 4.x web browser with 3DNUS (for the USA 3DS it's TitleId 0004003000009402, version 2050) and install it.
how do we install a CIA containing the web browser if we need this exploit to install a cia
You can launch Gateway with the old browser, then install the proper one for this mset exploit.
