Will wilbrand work with those of us that keep the date way before 2000?

i get all sorts of certificate errors when browsing the web when the clocks set to 2000 xD

I would like to thank GiantPune for his (again) very usefull tool.
It finally allows an easy way to create the exploit to launch casper, for people who want to keep their wii nand virgin.

All we are still missing is a similar tool on the wii, so that it can recreate the bomb itself.
(to avoid the need to scroll back several days to reach the mail after a while)
But, it's no big deal. It's use would likely be 2 limited to invest time in it.

Can you clarify your issue a bit for me? Does this occur when you load an already saved download queue, then try to add more files? Or does it occur when you're just about to start downloading anything and try to add more files to the queue?

I can't reproduce you're problem. This is what I've done:
from modmii classic main menu: 2, WB, aabbccddeeff, u, d (Wilbrand marked for download), a, bb1, d (Wilbrand and bannerbomb marked for download)

I'm not sure how the dutch translation is coming along actually, I'll ask Etheboss about it next time I see him on irc. Last I heard, he wasn't having any problems getting it done, but it's just time consuming.

First time I translated modmii, it took some time! imagine about it now.
Hopefully I can help in theprogress somehow, but for the time being I have to get my rest the doctors say.....

That was done intentionally, every time you return to the main menu, it will clear the download queue. But you can switch between download pages without having to return to the main menu anyways, so it's not an issue.

Modmii isn't on your wii. Modmii is the program that runs on your pc. It downloads all the necessairy stuff from the net to mod your wii. You should be able to locate a changelog that comes with every revision. You can see what changed, and figure out yourself if it makes a difference for your wii.
As far as I remember, not much has changed for a normal softmodded wii. Maybe the usbloaders got an update, or new cios became available.
If everything is working fine on your wii, you shouldn't update.
As we say, If it ain't broken, don't fix it...

In the v6.1.0 (and v6.1.1) update I released 3 days before the problem, users were required to validate their easter egg by providing a valid email address of a donator. I expected this security would eventually get circumvented by hackers changing a couple lines in the ModMii sourcecode to remove the validation check entirely, but I did not expect someone could crack\share the password protected list of emails, which is what happened. The list of emails has been posted in an obscure location online, so far it's only gotten about 15 views, and I've contacted the owners of the site to get it removed. Even if it doesn't get removed, it's not likely to get added to any spam lists, but unfortunately there is that slight possibility.

Within 2 hours of the information being posted online, I reverted the security on ModMii so an email isn't required anymore and easter eggs are not validated, so no one should even care to spread the leaked information and I'm hoping it ends there. I also sent emails to everyone who's email address was in the list notifying them that their email address was compromised, but no other personal information or passwords. I'm hoping a spammer doesn't get a hold of the list, but unfortunately it's not impossible.

I know, it's not your fault at the end of the day and that's one reason why I haven't donated (even though I said, that I would).

If the "easter eggs" are a problem, then they should either be changed or be completely scrapped!

An issue like this will never happen again. I would rather have the old simple easter egg leaked than another list like this ever being shared. I'll never use emails or any other personal information to validate easter eggs again. I've already scrapped the email verification of the easter eggs, so no one should have anything to gain by looking for this list.

it would be a good idea to change it. it is dissapointing this happened, but mod mii will always have my support. along with any thing related to TYM.
