Gaming best pokemon moves

Hi, I am fairly new to pokemon and I was wondering what are the best moves for each type. (ex. For Dragon Type it would be Roar of Time). I would really appreciate your help. Thanks.

For Fire Types:

-Eruption
-Blast Burn
-Flame Wheel
-Fire Fang
-Flame Wheel
-Blaze Kick

For Water Types:

-Hydro Cannon
-Hydro Pump
-Aqua Jet
-Bubblebeam
-Water Pulse
-Surf

For Grass Types:

-Giga Drain
-Grass Knot
-Frenzy Plant
-Leaf Blade

As pokemon has a depth of meta game in it, there is no 'best' move. Whilst it is true that pokemon with only offensive moves will make the 133t 4, moves like stealth rock, rapid spin, which have little in-game value(battle frontier and the such excluded) are staples on pvp. If you are looking for pure power based; one hit KOs like fissure, sheer cold, guillotine are the best moves. It really depends on the pokemon and your overall team.

there are some pretty reliable moves for some types such as
fire - flamethrower
water - surf
ground - earthquake
ice - ice beam
electric - thunderbolt
psychic - Psychic
fighting (special attack) - Aura sphere
ghost - shadow ball
dark (attack)- crunch, night slash
dark (special)- dark pulse
rock - stone edge
All of these moves have pretty high PP and are all 100% accurate besides stone edge i think

what kind of half slack tips are those

if u really want to do some real damage and own everyone u go to either smogon or serebii for moveset and recommed nature and EVs for it

Only thing im experinced in is actually physical sweeper lols

but things u should consider if ever try my tip :
- Dark move like crunch (for ghost since physical wont work)
- A strong physical attack corresponding to the type it is. Infermap = Fire blitz
- A move taking out it weakness. Like if u have luxray and its weakness is Fighting pokemon it should atleast have the move ice fang
- The last move for sword dance to increase its physical attack a higher notch(depending really)
EVs should be ATK & SPD
Nature is usually adamant for all physical sweeper

since ur new and are aiming for online battle i recommed u check into what IVs and EVs is and what moveset should be used making urself a good team

Best move of all time is Toxic. The only time I would ever say Toxic is a shitty move is if you're facing a steel or a poison type, because it won't affect them.

If they heal it in 1 or 2 turns it's not very good, since it does 1/16th the first turn (and 1/8th the next), whereas normal poison does 1/8th from the start.

Yes, but the DS has a dPad that makes some motions almost impossible. It's best to get an arcade stick to play. Happy fighting!

Yeah and they're releasing a 'super' edition along with SF4 to keep it fresh and up to date.

Personally I think bite is a good move. A lot of pokes can learn it. Bite > Psychic types and my Wartortle pwned Misty with it.

Fix'd

you are right about fire blast and hydro pump, but thunderbolt is 95 damage i think compared to discharge's 85 dont know for sure though
