I have done at least 15 wii's with wiikey's from different places
set the wii dvd drive to 6x
have done at least 200 games and printed direct to disc lables
I havnt had a single problem with wiikey's, games,
i havnt had one compaint

This is my setup
Lite-on DVDRW SHW-160P6S
VERBATIM DVD-R 16X PRINTABLE
IMAGEBURN VERSION 2.1.0.0 @X6

Just installed my WiiKey yesterday and have burned 5 backups without any problems....

DVD Drive: NEC ND-3450A 16X DVDR/RW (factory installed in my XPS Gen 4 a few years ago)
Media: Taiyo Yuden 8x DVD-R Silver Thermal
Software: Nero Express version 7.2.3.1 at 4x

I use a Samsung 24X Lightscribe SATA burner with 16X Lightscribe Verbatim media. Some games, it would work at 16X speed. On some other games though, I would either get an immediate DRE or while the game is loading. I've started to switch to 4X burn, and it seems to be more reliable.

I still wonder if maybe one wiikey wire is loose or whatnot cuz a GC homebrew game burned with TY 4X media gave me a DRE yesterday.
