Hey everyone, I searched around but didn't really find a thread on this...Does anyone have suggestions on really good bluetooth controllers? I have a Matricom but the controller is not very good for precise gaming for games like metroid and such. Any siggestions would be appreciated!

If you want to play games on PSX and PSP emulators or games that work with two analog sticks, the DS3 and DS4 work really well.

If you want to play 2D platformers or even more retro emulators such as the SNES, any 8Bitdo controller will suit your needs.

I really don't like the ps3 controller and I was doing more 2d games than 3d, thank you though!

Are the 8bitdo controllers responsive and good for performing quick moves and such?

8BitDo is great for Android and everything else!!!

Moga Pro Power controllers are also pretty good for android devices. (They can also charge your phone while in use, once the controller itself is fully charged)

I don't really own one due to them being quite pricey here so I can't tell but most review online tell that there's little to no input lag.

Here are some GBAtemp review which you may find useful:

I recommend gamesir gear g3 or g4. Is bluetooth, can use as pc, with x-input, (no drivers needed) and ps3 controller all in one. It works well, has turbo (rapid fire) and works with bluetooth. is a bit pricy (between $25-$45) i think and it works well, no root or drivers or apps required. Also has a place holder for the phone. :ninja:

You should search youtube for a video. "gamesir g3s/g4s" To get better idea of how if works. :)

My main issue is that a lot of these bluetooth controllers I've gotten myself straight up have crappy D-pads (not the ones everyones suggest just ones I've tried myself). I don't really care about all these fancy things the controller can do, I just really want something simple and responsive, ideally like the wii u pro controller.

The controller works and does what you need it to do, and then some, as for the Directional pad, it works, honestly is a matter of opinion since i mean is just a suggestion. But is your choice.
