Gaming Best BitTorrent Client?

What in your opinion is the best BitTorrent client? In terms of speed, features, or just looks in general.

I've used uTorrent for a while, but recently swapped over to Chinese BitTorrent client Xunlei (迅雷). Getting faster speeds with it already, don't know why, but I like it. Hate the ads that it shows though.

If one torrent client is getting better speeds than another on the same machine/connection it's one of two things.

1 - The torrent itself. The ratio of seeds to peers matters, not just number of seeds.

2 - Settings. More than simple speed limits, there's a lot of various settings to tweak.

3 - The client itself. Better implementation leads to faster network speed (particularly upstream) on high-bandwidth lines (hence mostly irrelevant).

The difference in speed between clients instead lies in how fast it starts, how fast it can recheck and how responsive it is when dealing with huge torrents.

I use... BitTorrent., which is basically uTorrent with a different name and a accelerator.

I'm just used to it.

What are you talking about, rtorrent has no GUI. It's command line , unless you use nTorrent which is rtorrent with a GUI.

I used to use BitTorrent, which switched to Arctic Torrent. A while ago I switched to BitComet for a while, then stopped when certain trackers banned me for using BitComet. I tried Vuze for a lil bit, didn't like the interface, and finally switched to uTorrent. I've been using it for around a year now, and I don't think I'll be changing any time soon.

rtorrent has a text-only, ncurses-based GUI.

And my vote goes to rtorrent.

Definately Vuze. You can search for torrents from multiple websites in the same search within the app. You can transcode (convert) media formats to be viewed on all kinds of devices (iPod/iPhone/iPad/Apple TV/Android/Xbox 360/PS3 and many more) and it optimizes the settings of the download automatically according to your bandwidth. Best BitTorrent client I've ever come across.
