I added this tutorial that shows how to finalize (if needed), the GFX packs created by BatchFw for a game that hasn't any packs available officially.

(for a game with resolution scaling GFX pack available, if you've chosen to let BatchFw complete the packs, it will add the missing presets for your aspect ratio)

On the first launch of a game or after a GFX packs update, BatchFw creates 2 kind of packs :

  • a scaling resolution one (for all aspect ratios used on every hosts you used previously)

  • a FPS CAP one (used to set emulation speed only for static FPS games with an FPS based engine model)
Those packs are created using natives values defined in BatchFw's Wii-U titles internal database.

This database have more than 2500 entries (games only declined in different regions, no update or DLC entries) and BatchFw automatically add missing titles to its database with default values set to 720p and 60FPS (for example for new eShop Games)

Native resolution of Wii-U titles games is 720p OR 1080p (16/9) and is used for scaling resolution pack. Native FPS is 60 or 30FPS (used for FPS cap pack)

Unfortunately, there's no way to know these values using the metadata given with a game. For most of the games (known), native resolution and FPS values might be correct and those packs will work without any tweak.

Once an official resolution pack will be available, it will automatically replace (when updating GFX packs) the one created by BatchFw.

This tutorial shows how to get the native resolution and FPS of a game and how to fix the values in the internal database if needed.

Also, it shows how to use the compatibility reports created.
BatchFw creates 2 kind of compatibility reports for each host you'll use :
  • one per host for listing the first version of CEMU that manages to load a game

  • one for every version of CEMU that list the status of all the games launched with this version. The last column give the code you have to enter @ http://compat.cemu.info/ to report your feedback for a game (filled automatically with your specs and the settings used)

If you want to know more about BatchFw, have a look to the other tutorials available at https://github.com/Laf111/CEMU-Batch-Framework
