I Finished the batch file and When i looked in to the _out folder the only thing there was a moonshl2 folder which only had the internal and extlink folder inside it

Is it meant to do this or am I doing something wrong?

Ah, when it starts it tells me "Extention memory was not found" and it freezes there. Can someone help me with this?

^that was cause by a incorrect DLDI patching... or a fake cart

did you answer the first question when you started the batch file correctly?
did you do a clean installation (reformatting the card) on it?

I'm sure my DSTTi is real, and I answered the question correctly as well as doing a clean installation, twice. (Used PanasonicSD formatter)

Still getting the same error. :/

Try disable the DiskChecking (see moonshell.ini)... dunno why it wont work on you though... it works perfectly fine to me.

--- updates the script.. try that one if it fixes your problem.

Thank you so much, it works now!

Hello, I followed your guide to a T, and I'm having a problem with video's on moonshell2. They seem to run very choppy, unlike before. I had moonshell2 before, on the same flash card/same sd card, and video's ran fine, but now they freeze/lag, any suggestions? Did I do something wrong, or is there a video plugin of some sort that I can download to fix this problem?

^fragmented card?

read the 1st page carefully.

edit:

just tested it with non-SDHC card.. and it did worse on me... yeah all operations are bit slow, and the caching on video is really slow... (slow SD card access time)

to remedy:

- Insert Slot-2 Expansion RAM (sorry forgot to remove the ez3-in-1 so it always do fine on my side)
- get a SDHC card class 4 or higher
- Downgrade to Moonshell 2.05 (the script doesnt support 2.05.. sorry)

downgraded to 2.05 and everything seems to run smoothly now. I still used the batch file though, all i had to do was change the way it was named...lol. Anyways, thanks for the help.

Hi, I'm having this message at the bottom screen that says there's an error about accessing a file or something every time I turn on my DS. (It shows up very quickly that I can barely read it)
I can play just fine but it just looks silly every time I boot up my Moonshell.

This is my first time using Moonshell, so I have no idea what it means.

I already tried reformatting and I'm using a Sandisk 4GB SDHC.

^naah its fine..

as long as you can do anything on moonshell 2 and able to use it... theres no need to worry on about it.

+ that message you said is always shown at startup.. whether you like it or not.

thats just diskcheck, and no it's not "silly" since it can be helpful when your sd card doesn't work
quit whining and just use it orr don't use it

Oh, okay. I was just wondering if I did something wrong.
Thanks for the reply.

@Dter ic - I'm not whining.
Like I said, it's my first time using Moonshell so I have no idea about how it looks like when booting up.

And I'm still holding on to my statement that it looks "silly".
Why would there be a message saying that some file was not found and suggests that I reformat my card if there isn't anything wrong at all?

I think its mainly set up that way because if it can't find the file, it will freeze at that point, in which case those are instructions to help users.

according to what i read on MAIO thread... Xenon++ found a way (maybe?) to replace the bottom (image?) message that shown on startup and replace it with something..

but i wonder if hes still working on it.. its been 2months since the last update though.

Is it possible to get Moonshell 2 to use YSMenu as a loader on MS2.10 and not be slow? Performance is important to me, especially video performance.

PS: This *Does* work on fakes.
