Anyone know what updates this wants to install? A friend is saying it is prompting him to install updates from the retail disc and wanted to make sure it is safe...

Or better yet, is there a utility that will show what updates, system menu and ios's an iso will install?

WiiScrubber will allow you to open and examine the contents of an ISO.

Use NeogammaR8_v15 and choose Stop Updates in settings and should work.

thx... i had tried wiiscrubber, but it didn't work at first over the network, so I had to copy it locally and it worked...
