not officially YET. It'll most likely be officially announced when the NX is revealed. 3ds is 5 yrs old and BADLY compromised with hacks, its bad business when nobody buys games for 3ds either.
Except they do.. Yes.. The 3DS is severely hacked.. but you have to understand we are still a -tiny- fraction. Just look at NSMB Wii and Pokemon Diamond and Pear. Some of the most pirated games in history... yet even that was NOTHING compared to the sales data.
People buy. Don't worry.
You can make a system as effortless to hack as the Wii and people will buy games a lot anyway.
People are not complete thieves, I like to believe, and even if they pirate they still buy most games they really play. I do at least.
History has already proven this to be true.
most people buy the console just for the hacks, theres a reason why exploit games sell top5 on any estore
when you look at the numbers for 60million 3ds sold and amount of game units sold it doesnt ever add up, by a HUGE margin, more so with recent unit/software ratio.
Anyway back to Zelda WiiU, itll most likely be outdated in 2017 ala Skyward Sword 2011. SS looks really bad now unless its ctr tv or gamepad

Thats cause your assuming that the same people who buy Pokemon will by Lego Marvel or Skylanders. Yes there is over-lap...but just assuming everyone has hacked thier 3DS is just utterly stupid. I'd argue less than 5 percent of 3DS owners have.
Either way, 3ds software is not doing too good and the future game lineup is almost nonexistent, insert the kimishima quote about making them run on the same base for porting purposes and the MH is seems more plausible along with their 'new ways to play' slogan
Well, perhaps it is because the hardware is dated as hell and the established smartphone market has been stealing purchases progressively.
replying to my own post. i was thinking OLD ASS CONTROLLERS, it was late. It should be twin sticks not dpad+xyba. the buttons can be the xyba ALREADY ON the screen on clear buttons
if zelda was considered a dud but then blew everyones mind....
lets hope this gimmick is better than the zelda showcased. i still think its eye wear shown in starfox. i picture it being used like the twilight princess 'pointer' and you can use your eyes to im his weapon, bomb, arrows, etc

i forgot to mention that ps4 neo and xbox1 scorpio rumored WONT be that much better despite crazy high 'console specs numbers' but theyll be just a half console only used for higher graphics fidelity and 4k support and vr support. Not to mention vr is really its own seperate console gimmick much like the playstation move and games, or the xbox motion sensor with its on vr only games.

son of a fukking saigon nose biting horr... I just realized that so many people got stoked from Zelda Breath of the Wild that they might just buy the nx too. Which will probably leave me stuck having to buy a second shipment console months later because the shelves dont just stock themselves
I'm buying the Wii U version, but I know at least two people who don't own Wii Us that would be buying an NX bundle at launch. Can't believe you didn't make that connection earlier lol
well i dont wanna play an inferior version and itll take 3yrs for a price drop so im sure ill play on NX even tho i bought my wiiu the e3 weekend zelda wiiu was shown, loadiine will probably be really bad with this game
I want to see what the differences between the Wii U and NX version are, and if Nintendo offers any sort of discounted upgrade path. If it goes down like the Wii I'll have to go all the way to Fort McMurray again to FINALLY find a console in stock, so I will probably just buy the game off the eShop then upgrade to NX when I can.
I need to see if my Homebrew transfers over though. I can just pick up an old Wii and load my Wii and Gamecube games onto it, but I'd like to stick with just one console that has everything. Since Wii games on the eShop skip the Wii Menu I suspect the NX will strip down the Wii OS to the minimal amount required and have everything managed through the NX OS.
