    NX = Nintendo Cross
Play handheld and home console games in the same device.

Yeah, I estimate late 2017 based on previous console cycles (then again, I'm not a professional research analyst, so who knows)

No later than 2017 since they have a pattern of announcing one console on one year and releasing one/two years afterwards.

Nintendo NX will have an Octocore CPU and will be the first (*cough*visualboy*cough*) second virtual reality device, it is estemeated to sell as well as the original gameboy, mainly bought by stegosauruses and pterodactyls.

and 2018 is practically 2020. 2022 is the Qatar WC, so they will push the release till then. That is practically 2030, rounding up.

2030 is an odd release, and closer to 2050 than anything. 2050 is approaching 2100, which is slated to be a revolutionary year, being the first century since 2000. NX is supposed to be revolutionary, just as all Nintendo consoles.

    2100 release confirmed.

This is only correct for E3. It's not a new console but an update to current ones. Also hear things about some apps coming to mobile devices.
But, NX also = No Execute. Lol maybe their next console is a No Execute as in maybe they are stepping away from consoles and focusing on making games......lol
It really does sound like another fake console like the "fusion". Also if the "NX" talking everyone is hearing about actually is No Execute then it's probably more along the lines of some sort of App system that will be rolled out on someone else's IOS device to play games on. As it is far too soon for a new console to roll out.
One thing is for sure this console hasn't had too many titles brought to it yet and personally if they kill this console in the next year or two I can tell you for sure I will write nintendo off.
So many things for this console never were released. ( most of the devices that plug in to the sata port on the bottom of the gamepad)
I really don't see this "replacement for wii u" happening any time soon.

    Fatal Error.

I wonder if they will have backwards compatibly? Making the wiiu backwards compatible was great but all these controllers and stuff makes things complicated for the average user

We doing this now? Alright, here we go:

NX refers to a software platform build by Nintendo with new partners, emphasizing ease of development and system-wide connectivity. When it is announced, a new handheld is shown using it, but Nintendo makes a point of stating that all future Nintendo consoles will also use NX. The purpose is to make it more attractive to outside developers, as their titles have a wider market and greater longevity, but it also eases pressures on Nintendo's internal studios who sometimes have to redo unannounced work several times because of console cycle changes.

The handheld is a compromise on the Wii U gamble. It features the same functionality as the Wii U game pad, slimmed down and given a capacitive touch screen, but works as a stand-alone console. Packed with it is a wireless HDMI dongle that acts as a video and audio receiver from a connected NX device. Only one device can connect to it, but multiple NX devices can connect and stream video between each other, so as long as the "host" device is powered on, players can bring their own and play split-screen on the television.

For players who would like backwards compatibility, a device is sold separately which accepts Wii and Wii U discs, and has HDMI ports to accept the handheld's wireless dongle and a cable to connect to the television. The device uploads game data to the handheld, and players can choose which screen to play the game on as they can with the Wii U now.

The system launches with what Nintendo thinks is a strong lineup, but fans are only really interested in the handheld ports of the Metroid Prime trilogy and Splatoon. Because the platform is meant to be long-lived and attractive to third parties, Nintendo is content to release only a new Fire Emblem game in the first year, padding the rest with ports of their popular games from previous systems. Square Enix treats the system poorly, opting to churn out two or three cheap spin-offs instead of a decent original title, and Atlus has to fill in for them again. Capcom tests the waters with a port of their newest iteration of Street Fighter before trying a new IP. It lacks mass appeal, but develops a strong enough cult following to justify a misguided sequel before fading into obscurity.

A handheld system with the fastest mobile chip with power surpassing the wii u that can play game like vita or wii u, with wireless display tech(they can do 4k 60 in close range), with the best controls and with 4g capability. Multiple handhelds can combine their might to perform truly stunning graphic on the tv. The handheld will as well have a vr configuration with a headset that you put the handheld in the middle.
The next home console, with ready screen-less display and true hologram, will arrive after the handheld with power to surpass a current top gaming pc. They can work with IBM to get old games working, but the console will be incredibly powerful to emulate the wii u. This console with stomp ps5 in power and use wii-mote, wii u pro and even gamecube as well as a new wii u pro with special add-ons and the handheld. The console will take some time as hologram is still under development.
The online services will be much better than the current e-shop, and valve at some time might join up with nintendo to take down sony. Actually nintendo's customer services and better and more reasonable than sony. Long live the big N!

That might be true, but amd's zen(and beyond) processor can finally rival the i7(xeon v5 will still stomps amd in any way, but no one can afford that) in a way, and using amd graphic makes porting old games a lot easier. And amd is always a good and cheaper choice, and they are getting their own arm chip like nvidia. And nvidia has already started shield so amd is the best choice. The real problem is how the next home console can stand out with new technology, since the handheld will very likely take care of the vr part.

NX will not support virtual reality at launch. Nintendo is too dedicated to maintaining mass appeal to even attempt it, to say nothing of the UX hurdles they'd have to overcome. They market the 3DS as "glasses-free" for a reason.
