I tested it with a AS dirty build. You need to delete your update data and it works now.

For a black screen or grey screen with an error message, go out of your base, take two steps away from your base, save the game, restart your console, then trigger the exploit and it should work

My save didn't corrupt after like 9 times of installing the exploit. You can back it up if you want to be safe. If the exploit doesn't work on your 3ds, delete the update file and try again.

ORAS uses Per Cart encryption, so a shared save wont work

Yes the only way to to use this entry point is to patch your save file using another 3ds with homebrew or on your own 3ds with another entry point (example: smashhax, freakyhax)

It has yet to work for me with Alpha (and yes I grabbed the build from his tweets that said it should work)
