That logs you out from the console but the account will remain linked. You can't link it to another Switch unless you call (or enter the eShop from the Switch itself)also for @YpordeDx my console is not banned...
on the account settings via browser and my console is not banned. so maybe on banned consoles its not possible...
account settings - login history
Abmelden means log off - so log console off. and if i do this the swith wants that i log in again...

Did you update your backups online? Want to know cause I’m trying to play Octopath but I don’t wanna get banned even though I didn’t go online.Hi, i have a question, i got banned for using SX-OS i guess... i didnt playend on line, but still i got banned yesterday... i already bougth a new nintendo switch i was wondering if the ban only affect the console or the account as well
i got banned only online to update games.. i dont care about online and can still download purchased gmes
Oh, I can assure you that the bans are so random, its like the days of the 3DS all over again. If you want to be extra safe, it might be worth not using AutoRCM, not using trimmed .XCI, not touching any homebrew whatsoever, block the GDPR thing, don't clear error logs on a 5.X firmware. And if you're wondering whether or not its safe to inject certificates similar to the 3DS era, it is most certainly not. This is what bugs me. Some people get banned for updating games, some don't. Some update while on SX OS, some on official firmware..
It all seems like a hell of a lot like random.
I have just recently hooked up my SX Pro, done the dongle/jig-thing and received my license (though, I should probably not have activated it on the Switch and instead uploaded the license request on the website). Ruling out this factor, who knows what traffic Nintendo tracks while being online.
I unlinked my NNID, removed my internet connection, unchecked "send error logs" (or whatever). I'm offline and will play the backups on a local dummy account. I'm currently transferring 101GB of trimmed goodies to my SDCARD, minutes away from trying out the concept.
I just hope things becomes clear over time. Though, I don't really intend on paying for Nintendos upcoming online-services, but being able to enter eShop and buy something once in a while would be neat.
Hopefully Nintendo didn't learn from their past mistakes with 3DS and private headers, my Sky3DS+ with private header has worked like a charm.
I've got two retail games on cartridge for Switch, Mario Odyssey and Zelda. Extracting the header is already possible from what I understand, but there's not a lot of reports regarding how safe the method is.

Its a short but interesting read: https://gbatemp.net/threads/gdpr-fo...-stop-sharing-usage-data-no-telemetry.509556/I'm curious though, what do you mean by "block the GDPR thing"? Haven't seen anything like that.

Also forgot to post this in addition to why injecting certificates won't work:
If you're feeling lazy, just start from the section titled Gamecards and work your way down. That has the necessary info to prove why it is not safe.
