What method of updating? Official?

Try reinstalling cIOS rev14 or better, wait for a few hours and install rev15 when it's released today.

cios14 will probably fail when you install it because you updated through nintendo which now means you probably have 0 vunerable ios files.

You will need to get trucha bug restorer latest version is 1.1 i think.

Follow the directions to downgrade ios36.

Once you have that done you will need to use anytitledeleterMOD to get rid of the stub ios files nintendo put on there(22,223,249,250)

*If you skip this part you will not be able to install the cios14 because the stub version nintendo put on is a higher # then cios14 so it will fail to install properly.*

After that you should be able to run cios 14 installer just fine.

If you need help on where to find these programs then look at the sticky posts for 4.2 guides at the top of the board.

I don't have a wii u anymore to test it myself, but if homebrews are not visible on the wii u menu I think you can press L + R + minus to open the plugin menu, there should be an option called "homebrews on wii u menu" or something similar
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
    nope
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:

  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Or when your player dies, you can say in code, if enemy exists, do nothing, but if enemy does not exist, then create enemy at certain spot. (This would be a pain tho for lots of emeies)

Easiest, simple way would be just restart scene, but player would restart from beginning.
