It's actually quite fun, very very similar to the dance mat games but there's a little more to it, I'd recommend it for kids.djtaz said:seuden said:I've tried Samba de Amigo pal on pal and it works fine other than the intro and loading is as stated on the compatibility list.
On another note... whats that game like ? is it any good ?

I strongly feel those people should not be making such changes to their system. The number of support requests and broken consoles would be drastically reduced if they asked a more knowledgeable person to perform the tasks for them. The tools and software needed are dangerous especially in the hands of someone who doesn't understand the function or possible outcomes. What if their system doesn't behave like yours for some reason. A walkthrough guide cannot "think" on its feet so they will end up with a half done install and need help from us. Since they dont use computers much, like you said, it would be hard for them to describe what error they saw or which step they had trouble with.djtaz said:ciper - the guide that catagory wrote tells you what to do , but for someone who hasnt done it before or who doesnt use computers much they really need a 'click this, then this' type of guide.
What seems easy to you might be totally daunting to a lot of the people new to all of this which is why im trying to keep my how to as simple as i can make it - if i see anyone running into any issues i break down that section even more to keep it as basic as possible.
I'll try the wifi method later.ether2802 said:If you wanna' rip on your PC you need to have an LG drive model:???(dunno) and use RawDump to have a .wod file and then another program to convert this to .iso, so if you want "THE BEST", the answer is "DVD Dumper" but you need a wireless router to do it fast, but you also can do it thru sd or usb storage.
Try to find an 8gb usb, lol...!!!

fishears said:Can somebody help with this problem: I've successfully patched a handful of ISO's using Waninkoko's backup-creator.exe on Linux (Ubuntu) BUT I keep trying Mario Kart PAL and Resident Evil 4 PAL and the result is always the same -> they look like they patched OK but when I open the ISO to burn it says Unknown Image Type and wants to burn to a CD (even though the size looks fine). So far it's only happened with these 2 games but I've tried 3 different MK ISO's. The ones that work for me load into Nero as DVD images and burn just fine... If you need any more details please ask. Thanks guys.
It's safe. I also have a 3.3U NTSC console and it installed fine. There's not region specific versions.bootsector said:Wii noobie here! (I'm more used to PS2 scene)
Well, I have a 3.3U NTSC console. Is it safe to install CIOS36_rev5-64-v1042.wad? I mean, is there a specific PAL or NTSC version of cIOS?
I'm afraid bricking my wife's Wii!

@ CMac1988: I'll try mounting the iso like you suggested - I've got Furius ISO Mounter installed - will post back the results.
@ skedone: Nero won't let me burn them but I could try another burner. I use Gnome so I'll give Brasero a go...
I tried a GUI for the patcher ( the Ben Lloyd one) but it crashes when I click Patch saying AvtiveX failed to create object.... Is it another GUI you're using?
Thanks you two
It may or it may not, just install from .dol's and try both. No harm done that wayOctavian86 said:Is wiigator's backup loader better then waninkoko's for PAL-systems? I know it fixes a lot of bugs for NTSC but is it worth the effort for PAL?
