the new backup launcher 0.3 will (maybe i don't know) play backup without patching the iso
if we don't need to patch the game,is there a posibility that the loader will allow us to play GC games???

Possibel, but it would require a patched mios. and that would be slightly more difficult then patching the ios, since the mios is less documented then the ios.

I just got my 0.3 alpha (I'm a beta tester) to work.

I'll just list some things I noticed.
- Will only work on 1:1 backups
- Loading times are MUCH faster
- Doesn't require DVDX
- All decrypting is done within the WiiGator cIOS

It'll be worth the wait for the full release.

Is this a brand new version of the 0.3 alpha? - I thought that the previous 0.3 had all of this but the only remaining problem ( to fix and test ) was the lack of support for patched iso's

They only have the game partition extracted and decrypted.

1:1 means it's a full backup. Like you could use the same backups that somebody with a modchip could use.

That's not true, it was just fabricated to make people stop asking when it comes out. There's no date attached to it at all.

I'll try decrypted ISOs later. I have a Mario Kart one lying around (I LIKE MARIO KART!

And I'm sure, I got through GP. And if it lasts one time, it will probably last other times.

Mario Kart Wii doesn't freeze with the cIOS fix. If you can't wait for the 0.3 release you know what to do

sorry - but then what you are saying is old information which was posted by other beta testers a few days ago. apart from the fact that you are saying that "patched" isos do not work - which i thought they should ( but not perfectly yet )

We are all waiting for news on a new candidate ( beta ) .. not on the existing one.

I'll still leave DVDx installed so I can watch DVD Movies using MPlayer. Its so great we wont need to patch anymore, it was such a pain.

Are they aiming for 100% Compatibility with this new loader?

not on first release I would assume. If they where it really would be ready by 2010! or even later!
