I used to use CopyTrans to backup everything from my iPod, but for some reason it does not recognize half of the music tracks I have on it.
Furthermore, when backing up files with CopyTrans, it cuts off any ID3 tag/filename that goes over a certain amount of characters, which is extremely annoying.
It used to be easy to just copy the /iPod_Control/Music/ folder to my computer, then importing the whole folder to iTunes one click and instructing it to automatically sort all the music (which took all the music tracks, renamed them and sorted them all in their own folder), but that option doesn't seem to exist on the newest iTunes version (and I can't rollback.)
Does anyone know of an alternative that would work?
