From the newest info on their news site they are sending out beta builds for testing. What's the average time it takes from beta testing to releasing to the public from the previous versions?

Nobody knows when a beta release is going to become stable. This applies for virtually all software - games, operating systems, drivers, and flashcart firmwares and kernels. "It's ready when it's ready" is a good thought process to adopt when wondering about this type of stuff, as incessantly questioning them about it will do nothing but potentially slow them down further. When it's updated, you'll find out about it on their website and likely here as well.

@K3Nv2 I got some cheapies at wallys, that are pretty good, already have lost a few expensive ones (one falls out and gone, can't find) while cutting grass so bought some cheap ones, and of course never lose these cheap ones. (Cheap meaning only $35, compared to air buds which I only have 1 of 2 now)
