Newbies need to be limited to being only able to make 1 thread then a cooldown. This kind of spam is making the forums a mess Reporting them isn’t enough to deal with them when it honestly shouldn’t happen in the first place. A new user...

Go to My Controls[on the upper right]
Then under portal options, go to Avatar Settings

Well, I did do that. I've uploaded an avatar, which is visible in my profile page... But it doesn't show up when I make a post, like yours does.

You went to your profile, clicked the settings tab and uploaded a profile picture.
You need to upload it as avatar, here.
