Hacking Automatic emuNAND booting

Hi all, when I try to launch the gateway exploit I am directly and automatically redirected to the gateway mode (emuNAND). I tried to reinstall the exploit, to launch the gateway exploit pressing L and without pressing it. What else can I do?

Are you trying to get to the Gateway menu? Launch the exploit without the Gateway cartridge in.

not really stupid, as pressing L is the correct way of entering the menu, this would suggest your L button is faulty

I boot into the menu by default when my GW is inserted. I have emunand set up and have to select "Gateway/Classic" mode each time. Any idea how you enable the auto boot?

it should always auto boot if the gateway card is inderted....unless you hold L

Never had any issues with it in any games. When it was 2.0b1 I had to hold L to enter the menu, otherwise nothing happened and it just went back into sysnand. Now it always boots into the menu.

I don't know how I have enabled the 'gateway mode automatic booting'. I only know that when the gateway card is inserted, while pressing or not the L button, I enter automatically in the gateway mode, not in the gateway main menu. I don't know how it should work or so I cannot understand if there is a problem.

basically if you keep hold of L it should go to the gateway menu, if you don't keep hold of L it auto boots to gateway mode unless you don't have the gateway card inserted, that's all there is to it, there's no option to enable or disable it

I tried, with the gateway card insert, to keep holding L from the main menu in the settings, and I successfully booted the gateway menu, probably I was not holding L in the right way XD

Is there not anyway of leaving the homebrew launcher and returning to the EmuNand rather than getting pushed back into SysNand...?

Sure, if you use CFW with homemenuhax you can have it autoboot into emuNAND again.

Not yet. Well, rxTools uses the same emuNAND but the Gateway cart won't be usable.

Yes i know that, but OP confused me and i was thinking "what, booting in GW menu from themehax?" I already boot into reinand and im fine with that.
