Hacking Automatic emuNAND booting

I have to ask........how many ways can you hold the L button. I mean...how can you hold it in any wrong way.

So, now that I am more knowledgeable in this, how do I boot into my Gateway EmuNand on system boot? Or better yet, how do I downgrade MSET to use the profile expolit? Anyone?

How about an automatic boot that automatically checks to see if the system was updated and automatically patches the updated if it can automatically do it. If not it will automatically shutdown and will attempt auto patch it again at a later date.

That's pretty vague.

Do you want to boot into GW mode on system boot? Not possible.

For autoboot, use RXTools + Browser/HomeMenuHax which can use your existing emunand.

Your other questions depend on what type of 3DS you have and the current Sysnand version.

MSET exploit is the quickest way to boot into Gateway Mode possible. If you want autoboot from the moment you turn on the 3DS, you have to switch to using CFW, I would recommend rxTools. The downside is you must convert all your .3ds to .cia. Once this painful part is over, you will not miss Gateway mode at all.

I use my actual Gateway card and need to be able to continue to use it. My computer's hard drive corrupted with programs for .3ds to .cia and I will not deal with that again.

Make sure you unlink SysNAND and EmuNAND before you install the MSET exploit.

Already done. So, this MSET exploit... I'm on a 2ds. How do I approach this? Never heard of how to do this. All I know is there is a limitation to the 2ds.

Ok, you may actually be out of luck then, I was for some reason thinking you had N3DS, from what I understand, you can not boot into Gateway mode using MSET without a N3DS.

Even more reason to switch to using a CFW, but if this is really not possible for you to do, you will be stuck using the Browser method to boot into Gateway mode.

Well, damn... But thanks for the time to try and help.
