ROM Hack are there any programs?

that will re-calculate the pointers in a script can do it myself now just wondered

it uses the program Atlus. You create something like a code for it. Ask hernanzh (I forgot the spelling).
He can write you up a great tutorial for it

any programming language will fit this purpose with 10 lines of code...

Actually the program is called Atlas and it needs some info about the header's width,where the text starts, where the pointer table starts, to reinsert the pointers but it's a real lifesaver.

right have got hold of atlas and read the read me files (boy they dont make a lot of sense)
so how does this work?
