Hacking arc rise fantasia freezes

this game get to a certain spot and freezes everytime.......same spot as well.......any suggestions?
BTW my specs:
4.2u
cIOSx rev20b base ios57
cfg usb loader

Play through WiiFlow (249) Linky, best to choose the light version

thats the one, i had wiiflow, but it crashed on me quite a few times, so i got rid of it (prolly my fault y it didnt work), ill get it again, and try it, thanks

this is what I did

install rev19 250 with base 57. (rev 20 should be the same)

download r92a-WiiFlow_250

go into game settings and select IOS 250 = WIN!

do you know if you get that freeze from playing on a backup dvd?

yes you do in fact i was never able to get a backup disc to run even from a chip

how far is this freeze into the game? I have played it by disc its on my to do list,

well i tried from a wiikey 1 it wouldn't even boot. the 2nd town right before the 1st dungeon is where it freezes. the town gets attack you have to join this guy and than bamm it happens...and don't have your sound loud cos it makes a high very loud pitched noise continuously!

it happens at a cut scene in jada, after u defeat the 5-6 monsters roaming in the courtyard......it show a older fella battling another guy, and after the bad guy sends 6-7 of his minions on the older fella, prince alf suggests helping the older fella and your character agrees, .......then the freeze happens........im trying wiiflow today to see if it bypasses this

I have it working in Configurable with 250, but it is kinda hit and miss. I had it freeze there and also on another cut scene even when using 250.

I have been playing via DVD Backup (Neogamma r9 v39, cIOSx19 base 37, 4.2e), and have gotten quite a bit past that part of the game, without experiencing any freezes. My Wii is softmodded, with no modchip.

Hope that helps in some way.

I played this tonight and got past the bit where its supposed to freeze, I tried using neogamma but it green screens on me so I used softchip r99 loading ios 232 the guitar hero way, I have cIOS249 rev 19 base 37 hope that helps anyone

Olquina, when Adele summons the other rogress. A bright flash happens as part of the cut scene, then gets stuck and freezes...

I'm using CFGLoader plus the latest 249 and CIOS v20, 224/57...

Any help appreciated!

I fixed it. It may have been related to the CFGLoader I was using, because I loaded the game with USBLoader GX and got past that cutscene.

Sorry for resurrecting an old thread, but I am tearing my hair out.

This game freezes for me right at the beginning, at the cg opening, when the dragon dies and the lady starts singing. The game freezes, but the subtitle keeps showing up, until a black screen occurs and the wii freezes. I tried using USBLoaderGX and the ConfigurableUSBLoader, also tried using rev17, rev20 and rev21, and none worked. Btw, I am loading the game from a fat32 formated HD.

I searched everywhere and couldn't find anyone with the same problem as mine. I appreciate any help, thanks.

Edit: The freezes occur around the 4:33 mark at the opening (youtube video linked), which seems to be exactly when the CG ends.

I've been playing this game with the newest CFG Usb loader v68d and cIOSX 249[56] r21-d2x-v3 (You can get it from here: cIOSX rev21 d2x v3 or Modmii ).

Haven't had any issues and Im around 20 hours in (tho I've been doing a lot of grinding)

The dragon freeze occurs randomly but can work with any cIOS, while later in the game (2nd town) you can't pass the envent if you don't use a cIOS base56.

Rev17 doesn't work, as it's based of IOS38, Arc Rise Fantasia only works with a base56.
You need to install cIOSx (any version, but it's better to use rev21 d2x) and select BASE IOS 56 when asked.

Base 57 is working too.
