5MW15jz.jpg

A new month means a new Humble Monthly, or as it's referred to now, Humble Choice. The latest options for the April 2020 collection are now available, with Hitman 2 and Gris headlining the bundle, with 10 other games to choose from. Depending on which Humble Choice subscription you have, you'll be able to keep 3 or 9 of the offered selection. The full list is:

  • Hitman 2
  • Gris
  • This is the Police 2
  • Opus Magnum
  • Molek-Syntez
  • Raiden V: Director's Cut
  • Driftland: The Magic Revival
  • Turok 2: Seeds of Evil
  • Truberbrook
  • The Bard's Tale IV: Director's Cut
  • Shoppe Keep 2
  • Capitalism 2

Got Gris from a friend who didn't want it. That was the only thing I was vaguely interested in, so I can save wasting $12...not that I would have anyway, but ech. This is the third iirc month that's just been awful.

I don't know most of these games, but hitman 2 and opus magnum are very good. Raiden V seems like a cool game too if you like shmups. Considering the basic sub lets you pick 3, having at least 3 good games in there doesn't seem that bad to me.

Opus Magnum is very good...but I honestly don't get why they're including "Molek-Syntez" as well (which is sort of the same kind of puzzle game). I'm a fan of zachtronic games, but come on...five games in the last three months is overkill(1). :glare:

I'm not happy with games like Capitalism 2 or Shoppe Keep 2 in bundles either. The former is nearly 20 years old (and was a niche game back then as well...I think I got it for free on GoG a few years ago), the latter a blatant cash grab by the developer. And Turok was a flakey choice last month. The sequel this month is pretty sour as well.

The rest of the bundle I can live with (not everything's my cup of tea, but that's a matter of taste), but they REALLY need to step up their selection status if they want to justify the increased price.

(1): shenzen IO, exapunks, Eliza, Opus Magnum and Molek-Syntez

Hitman 2 was free last week, lol.
Erm...not sure where you got that, but are you sure it was THIS hitman 2? This is the 2018 version, not the original sequel from 2002

Seems like a very sad bundle :/.

I used to buy a quite a lot of the bundles, this is how i got about 130-150games on steam (alongside the uplay or Origin ones i got with the bundles).

Last time i paid a Monthly was May 2019, and last time i bought a bundle was in 2017... I'm not even a big gamer, I mostly play CS but when i was seeing interesting bundles i was buying them to support the initiative...

You people are really strange. Really dunno what games you expect to get instead.
It is as if every game in the Humble Bundles sucks just because its not for you.

They're really going downhill with the choices. Luckily I have the option to get the complete bundle for $12.

I jumped in on the grandfathered plan before they cut it, and yeah there hasn't been anything astounding. I definitely wouldn't be paying for the highest tier at this point.

It was great back when Humble was doing Indie games because there were some solid games that just didn't have any marketing. Like, everyone has heard of Hitman 2 and if you were really excited about Hitman 2, you would have just bought it on launch. If you were merely interested you would have bought it one of the many times when it was on sale. Makes sense that people are underwhelmed actually.

I like Raiden V but I have it as well as Gris from Limited Run Games on PS4 so no need for me.
Other than that this bundle does not look great lol

I would like a Predator game "Kill Team" it takes place in the Jungle of the first movie, your team is sent to hunt the predator, using current tech drones and a trained team. Set traps use strategy to hunt and trap or kill the predator.
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Ill stick with my Battlefield. Yea a predator hunting game like that would be cool. Esp if you can be Arnold and say "Get to da choppa"
    +1
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
Maybe Arnold could do a cameo voice acting, he is the one briefing you on the mission

I went today and looked at a motorcycle someone was selling. I get there and the battery on it was dead, so the guy grabbed a battery charger and hooked it up. He plugged it into the wall, and the motorcycle sparked and started smoking. Come to find out the bike uses a 6 volt battery and the guy had the charger set to 12v. I said sorry to the dude and walked away. I felt bad for him tho.

He ruined it basically. Sad cause it was a decent old bike. It would take more money to rewire the bike than it was worth tho.
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
Yeah I'm sure at minimum the starter was fried
