Could this program be ported as a homebrew app for the 3DS? it would be very convenient to have the patching process there as well.
Anything is possible, but it would be pretty slow given the 3DS's limited capabilities, and it wouldn't be 'porting' so much as creating an entirely new program for the 3DS from scratch (first of all I presume retrohead, who programmed the tool, doesn't have the source code to it anymore or at least is no longer familiar with how he set it all up nearly a decade ago, but even he if were, you can't just 'port' a PC program over to the 3DS, they're very different machines). Also, considering that you only need to patch a ROM once, it probably wouldn't make a lot of sense to do the patching on a very slow system as opposed to a computer.

Can't seem to patch the following as a patch doesn't seem to be available:

5470 - River City Super Sports Challenge

Any possible way to patch this to use with TwiLight Menu++?

Hi, I have problems with Kingdom hearts 358/2 days, is there a patch for this rom?
It's patched on-the-fly, so you don't need a patch, assuming you're using TWiLight Menu++.
Make sure you're on the latest TWLMenu++ version (v9.4.0).

Definitely whenever I try to do a career race or something that requires a loading screen I got a black screen. I did try to wait but even after 30 min nothing comes up
Try it yourself if you don't trust

I have the same issue here. Fixed it by running it using YS Menu.

Hello!

Since AP-patches may be disappearing due to built-in patching by flashcard firmwares, and/or dead links, I've decided to create this thread for AP-patches. :)

TWiLight Menu++ contains AP-patches for every game with AP measures, in the form of .ips files, and are applied on-the-fly by nds-bootstrap.
Alternatively, you can use DS-Scene ROM Tool to AP-patch your game.

Not recommended, but you can also check out this link.

OneDrive link, if there's issues: https://1drv.ms/f/s!AqGeeLfCS_WfxxDNO3jz2tL9_Kl6

The link above contains any AP-patch me and some others have found, including RetroGameFan's OpenPatch app, (howto included, written by me).

Uh hey so when i download Ds scene rom tool from that link windows defender says there is a trojan in the file.? i trust you. but why is this exactly may i ask?

Who knows?
When these things happen, standard procedure is:
1- note down what exactly was detected - a false positive will almost always be something "Gen"eric or a clearly bs thing, investigate the name of the reported threat (fun fact: the security software we had in high school actually complained at any file called "keygen.exe")
2- get a second opinion (well, 50 other opinions) on virustotal.com
3- repeat (1) for those opinions

It's pokemon moon black 2. I think the problem doesn't lie on the hack itself, but on the fact that i can't use an AP patched rom as the base for it.
Try disabling the checksum checker. How, is depending on what patcher you're using.

im using xdeltaUI, but let me try that

im using xdelta patcher, but let me try that
nvm that option doesn't exist there

now i downloaded a different patcher that can disable checksun checker but when i boot the game on my ds it just freezes after the intro. The problem might be with the rom itself

Excatly, how do you use nds bootstrap to apply the patches? i have not been able to figure it out. i how do i apply the patches. When i try to use the actual nds bootstrap nds file, it just goes to a white screen. Some one please explain how to apply the patches with nds bootstrap step by step?

Can someone please explain how to apply the patches with nds bootstrap, step by step? i can't use ds scene rom tool because im on mac and can't download wine to run it. I would very much appreciate it (i have all of the ips files that you get when you download the latest version on twilight menu ++ and all of the versions on nds bootstrap with it)

(soz the website glitched out and i posted twice)
(edit: i can use some DS cheats codes that apparently ap patch the game but i don't know how well that works. if someone experienced can recommend it, i'll stick to that. otherwise i would just rather patch them normally)

If you are using the latest version of Twilight menu the patches should be included and applied automatically, what games are giving you problems?

Mainly the Pokemon games, Mega Man zero collection and a bunch of others. How do i know if the patches are applied? Also, should i use the cheat code to patch as an alternative?

Does the on-the-fly IPS patching support English Translations as well? Could I use my nanashi import cartridge and get it patched when I boot it?
