Just wondering, how well does it work?

I would love to be able to play Phantasy Star Portable when it comes out online, and I doubt I can buy a PS3 at the time being just to play it online.
Sega/Sonic Team is really stupid for not adding Infrastructure mode in it (based on the rumors I hear).

I looked at Xlink's wiki quickly to see how easy it is to set it up. It's not that easy, but it's not hard either and I have the required hardware
