1 - Invite-only torrent sites aren't that good anymore, even the fabled -torrent site removed- is not my first checking place.koji2009 said:Guess someone didn't let you know... all the cool kids have secret invite-only torrent sites these days. All the uncool ones have to rely on -shivers- megaupload and rapidshare. Course you can still go oldschool and do IRC... but since most kiddies don't even know what DOS was or understand that you can command computers via text and not just shiny GUIs.... Bittorrent is great for certain files. Take properly ripped music for example. Usenet or DDL forums do not compare to the lossless trackers.
I'm more of a Usenet guy(great for big files, good security, and best of all guaranteed speeds and no seeding), but there are some things that Bittorrent is better for than other file sharing methods.
